We are a small business with an highly skilled team of craftsmen dealing in all aspects of the antiques trade. With our experience, we are able to advice you on any item however large or small, guide you on its value, and the cost of it’s restoration. Our quality services have given us an amazing reputation among our clients resulting in many prestigious commissions coming our way.

Founder Clive Beardall and his team are able to work across London and throughout East Anglia. Though we are based in Maldon, we have previously served clients across Essex including Braintree, Brentwood, Chelmsford, Chigwell, Coggeshall and Colchester – to name just a few.

We have the facilities and the skills to restore an extensive range of antique furniture including cabinets, chairs, cupboards, gothic tables and book cases. From William IV dining tables and Gonzales Alves Davenport to an 18th century Italian walnut bureau, we have restored numerous items for our clients.

If there is slight damage to your piece, like scratches and water marks, we can come straight to you and repair the damage for you in your own home. If there is a greater amount of damage, bring it to our workshop, or we can collect it for you if that is more convenient, and we will give it a new lease of life. French polishing is labour intensive task but the end result makes it all worth it! Not only does it give it a nice finish but it also makes it easier to repair and maintain it. We have found that most furniture only needs, what we call ‘feeding’ once a year with any dirt or marks dry wiped away or cleaned with a damp cloth.

As an added bonus, in our showroom, which is situated in front of our workshop, shows off a varied selection of excellent quality 18th and 19th century furniture which are all for sale, including some pieces that have been restored by us!

Please do not hesitate to get in contact with us for further information on any of our services – we would love to hear from you! Or you can visit our social media page to hear about our latest projects, news and deals or you can watch our video on YouTube.
